    • The Thai Constellation is a yellow-to-white-variegated Monstera Deliciosa that was first developed in a laboratory. Specifically, it was developed in a tissue culture laboratory in Thailand, hence the name.
    • Make sure to place your monstera near a bright, preferably east- or south-facing window where it will get lots of light but never directly in the sun’s rays. This will help provide the plant with plenty of sunlight to convert to energy without scorching the leaves. (Variegated plants may be more prone to this.)
    • Your Thai constellation monstera will also need plenty of humidity to keep its leaves supple and healthy! Unless your home is quite humid, try setting your monstera on a pebble tray (fill a shallow tray with pebbles and water, and place the plant—pot and all—on top. Don’t let the soil or roots touch the water). This will create some humidity around your plant as the water evaporates. You can also set up a nearby humidifier.
    • As an epiphyte, Thai Constellations have sensitive aerial roots. They are particularly susceptible to root rot, more so than the parent Monstera Deliciosa. So watering properly is key. Always check that the top few inches of soil is dry before watering again or use a moisture meter.
