Rhaphidophora cryptantha is a unique and rare aroid from Southeast Asia, known for its silvery blue-green leaves that are highlighted with distinctive silver veins. It's commonly referred to as the Shingle Plant, along with a few similar species. This climbing plant's leaves grow flat against a tree rather than spreading outwards. Rhaphidophora Cryptantha thrives in climates that are moist and moderately sunny. It requires ample light and fertile soil with good moisture to climb to its full potential. However, excessive sun or moisture can lead to overfeeding, which is harmful to the delicate nature of these shingling plants, as they can only tolerate intermediate levels of feeding.
